Poster - Art in Prison by Daniel Zeltner
Surrounded by walls, gray blends into gray, and no matter where, concrete everywhere. In Lenzburg in the canton of Aargau, things are different: between autumn 2012 and spring 2014, well-known street artists from Switzerland created 4661 square meters of wall space in the prison there. A barren, cold concrete bunker was transformed into a lively and unique work of art.
Daniel Zeltner - The trained screen printer with many years of experience as an illustrator loves and pursues the spontaneous, direct and personal in the strokes of a drawing.
His art has its origins in American graffiti. The energy, the freedom, the do-it-yourself, the spontaneity to react to different situations can be seen in his works.
Color contrasts, materiality, haptics and arbitrariness are fundamental elements.
Size of the posters: 59.3 x 42 cm.
