Martha Cooper is one of the great legends among graffiti photographers: she was already closely involved during the creation of the New York graffiti scene in the 70s and 80s, together with Henry Chalfant she published for the graffiti bible Subway Art. Now the 1942-born photographer was with the Berlin graffiti crew 1UP - One United Power for one week. The result is the One Week With 1UP book: in it she documents in pictures how the crazy Berlin writers paint walls and trains in rows in seven days.
Besides the many beautiful pictures, the book also contains texts with interesting background information by Georg Bakunin. This book is definitely a must-have!
