The duo was founded in the late 70s and is still grooving in their studio in Vesterbro, Copenhagen. Laid Back made their international breakthrough in the 80s with Sunshine Regga and White Horse. The originality of both songs has left a lasting worldwide reputation for their music. The third evergreen from their hand came in 1990 with Bakerman - with a music video by Lars Von Trier. More recently, the two members have founded their own record label, Brother Music, which has released Laid Back singles such as Cocaine Cool, remixes of Soul Clap and, most recently, the mini-album Cosyland and the chill-out album Cosmic Vibes.
