The Wa is an artist who constantly plays with common representations and questions our perceptions through his performances. He often gives neither meaning nor context to his works, letting them exist in their environment, waiting - or not - for recognition or reaction. His art inserts itself into the cracks, flourishing or sometimes dissolving in them.
The imprint of graffiti can be found in his work: the game, the forbidden, the city, the codes he manipulates. Not surprising, given that he began his artistic career in this milieu, notably on trains. Yet this influence is never frontal.
