We were able to get some more copies of this popular classic from the year 2007!

The book "Gedächtnis der Stadt schreiben" (Writing the memory of the city) brings together a selection of 15 Berlin artists from a circle whose origins manifest themselves in writing. All are united by a long, sometimes shared experience in the public space of this city. The reader is given a hitherto hidden insight into the thought and intellectual worlds of a movement, the effects of which can usually only be seen on the surfaces of the city. Together with a selection of essays, they lead from an everyday image of Berlin into unusual views and layers, spaces and dreams, visible and invisible cities.

Among them are DANIEL TAGNO, BROM, TRY ONE, SPAIR, MARE 139, SKKI, AKIM ONE, BUS 126 and a few more. Writing the memory of the city is certainly not a pure graffiti or street art book, but rather a way of bringing it out of the unknown into the light with lots of explanatory text, great sketches and many photos.
