We were able to get hold of a few more copies of this popular classic from 2007!
The DOKUMENT FÖRLAG delights us once again with a first-class illustrated book. The strange title 1207 is an encoded bridge to the topic: This is the numerical code for damage to property by graffiti in Sweden, which seems to have existed in Stockholm for more than 35 years. A good reason to track down the people responsible for this and to talk them out of taking portrait photos (the police would probably like to have it that easy).
About 50 writers agreed to do this and were photographed at various locations for 1207. Some at the scene of the crime, like subway stations, tunnels, bridges or train heads, others at home in the living room, in the club or even on horseback. TORKEL SJÖSTRAND has already photographed for UNDERGROUND PRODUCTIONS and therefore has the necessary reputation to guarantee the quality of the flicks - and that's what makes 1207 - really very impressive photos in all aspects (technique, composition, effect, dynamics etc.). Between all the portraits there is a chapter with tags of all participants. Great atmosphere! With foreword by IROK and essay by JACOB KIMVALL.
Hardcover, 124 pages, 20,5cm x 25,5cm, texts: Swedish/English.
