Rae Martini, at the age of just 12 approaches graffiti writing and a few years later, thanks to an incomparable mix of passion and attitude, he will become one of the reference figures of the entire movement not only for the city itself, but for Italy.
This is the path of the writer Rax-E, later known as Rae, to become the Artist Rae Martini, with the same determination and perseverance that made him spend sleepless nights around the city, moving only the attention from trains and walls towards something different, the canvases, maintaining the binomial creation/destruction, a constant in the world of graffiti.
24 Carat Dirt is a monograph that mainly collects the background of Rae Martini, the starting point, but also the evolution that has brought his production to the galleries. We therefore find ample space for the original sketches, for bombings in the street, on the platforms of the Milan metro, for burners in the hall of fame and above all for trains, to end up with a selection of the most recent works.
