"Gone Clear" was recorded at the legendary Dynamic Sound Studios in Kingston, Jamaica, with the crème de la crème of contemporary studio musicians (Sly & Robbie, Randy & Michael Brecker, Lou Marini). With "Reggae Makossa" he also delivered a reggae version of his influential Afro-Soul classic "Soul Makossa".
